Report content

Last updated: July 30, 2026

GalleryLink displays galleries from folders our customers hold in their own Google Drive. If you believe a gallery contains illegal content, or content that infringes your rights, you can report it here and we will assess it. This page is our notice-and-action mechanism under Article 16 of the EU Digital Services Act.

How to report

Email gallerylinklive@gmail.com with the subject “Content report” and include:

  • The gallery URL — the full link, so we can identify the exact gallery.
  • What is wrong — which images or elements you are reporting, and why you believe they are illegal or infringe your rights. Be specific enough that we can locate them.
  • Your basis — for a rights complaint, tell us what right you hold and, if you are not the rights-holder, who you act for.
  • How to reach you — an email address for our reply. You may report anonymously, but then we cannot tell you the outcome.
  • A statement of good faith — confirmation that the information in your report is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

What happens next

  • Acknowledgement. We confirm receipt to the email you give us, without undue delay.
  • Assessment. We review the report in a timely, diligent, non-arbitrary way. We are a very small team, not an automated moderation system: decisions here are made by a human, and no fully automated means are used to decide on reports.
  • Action. Where a report is upheld we may disable the gallery link, remove access to specific files, suspend the account, or refer the matter to the competent authorities where we are required to. Because we never hold copies of the media, removing a gallery removes access — the files themselves remain in the customer's own Google Drive and only they can delete them there.
  • Notification and reasons. We tell you the outcome, and we give the affected customer a statement of reasons for any restriction we apply to their content or account.

If you disagree with our decision

Whether you are the person who reported the content or the customer whose gallery was restricted, you can contest the decision by replying to our message or emailing gallerylinklive@gmail.com within six months. A human will re-examine it. You may also be entitled to use an out-of-court dispute settlement body, or to bring the matter before a court in your country. Nothing here limits your rights.

Urgent cases

If a report concerns an imminent threat to someone's life or safety, or child sexual abuse material, mark the subject “URGENT” and contact your local law enforcement as well. We prioritise these reports and will cooperate with the competent authorities.

Point of contact

For notices, requests from authorities, and any communication about this mechanism, our single point of contact is gallerylinklive@gmail.com. We accept communications in English.

Misuse

Please do not send reports that are manifestly unfounded or intended to harass a photographer or their clients. We may stop processing reports from a sender who repeatedly does so.
