Turn your Google Drive folder into a beautiful client gallery

Your photos are already in Google Drive, exported, sorted and backed up. The problem is the last step: a Drive link shows your client a file list, a sign-in prompt on some phones, and a grey download bar that says nothing about you. GalleryLink reads the same folder and shows it as a proper gallery with your name on it, so you skip the re-uploading that hosted gallery services ask for.

The short answer

Share the Drive folder as “Anyone with the link”, paste that link into GalleryLink and pick a theme. Your client gets one gallery link that opens like a website, with full-resolution downloads and favourites, while the photos stay in your Drive. Add or remove files in the folder and the gallery follows.

What makes this delivery hard today

The GalleryLink workflow

  1. 1

    Share the folder in Drive

Right-click the shoot's folder, choose Share and set General access to “Anyone with the link”. Subfolders are fine: they become sections of the gallery, such as Ceremony, Portraits and Reception.

  2. 2

    Paste the link into GalleryLink

Create a gallery, paste the folder link and give it a title. GalleryLink reads the photos and videos straight from Drive; nothing is copied or re-uploaded.

  3. 3

    Pick a look

Choose a layout and theme, set the cover photo and drag to frame it, or describe a style and let the AI suggest one. It takes about a minute.

  4. 4

    Send one link

Your client opens a fast gallery on any phone or laptop, with no account and no app. They can download full-resolution files and save favourites, and with Pro the gallery can have a password.

  5. 5

    Keep working in Drive

Drop late edits into the folder or delete a reject, and the gallery updates itself. Drive stays the one copy you manage.

Why it fits google drive users

No second copy, no storage bill

Linked galleries use the Drive storage you already have. There is no upload wait and no storage tier to outgrow.

Always in sync

The gallery reads the folder, so the folder is the source of truth. Change it once and every client sees the current set.

Looks like your studio, not like Drive

Themes, layouts, a framed cover and your branding, on yourname.gallerylink.live or your own domain with Pro.

Upload when Drive isn't the right fit

Some jobs are better hosted. You can upload directly to any gallery instead, and mix both ways across your clients.

What it costs

Build and preview a gallery free, with no card. To share it with clients, go Pro or pay $10 once for that gallery. Pro is $5/mo or $50/yr for unlimited galleries, password protection, every theme and layout, and your own studio subdomain. Your photos stay in your Google Drive either way, so nothing here is priced by storage.

Questions google drive users ask

Do my photos leave Google Drive?+

No. A linked gallery reads the files from your Drive folder when a client opens it. GalleryLink doesn't keep a second copy, and deleting the folder or turning off link sharing takes the photos offline.

Does my client need a Google account?+

No. Clients open a normal web page. They never see Drive, never sign in and don't need an app.

Can I password-protect a gallery made from a Drive folder?+

Yes, on Pro. Drive itself can't put a password on a folder, which is one of the main reasons photographers put a gallery in front of it.

What happens when I add photos to the folder later?+

They appear in the gallery on their own. The same goes for removed or replaced files, so you never resend a link after a fix.

How much does it cost?+

You can build and preview a gallery free. Sharing it needs Pro, at $5 a month or $50 a year for unlimited galleries, or $10 once to keep a single gallery online.
