About

A delivery suite built for photographers, not platforms

GalleryLink is client-gallery software for independent photographers. You fill a gallery one of two ways — link the Google Drive folder your shoot already lives in, or upload the photos to us — and send your client a single link that works in any browser, with no account for them to create.

Why it exists

Most photographers already back every finished shoot up to cloud storage. Then, to deliver it, they upload the same files a second time to a gallery platform — an evening of bandwidth, and a storage tier billed monthly forever after. That second copy produces nothing the client can perceive.

GalleryLink started in 2026 as a way to skip it: point a gallery at the Drive folder you already have, and let the backup be the delivery. The folder stays the source of truth, so adding a photo to it updates the gallery your client already opened.

That approach doesn't suit every job — some clients' networks block Google, some deliveries shouldn't touch your personal Drive quota — so galleries can now be hosted here instead, with the same themes, proofing and sharing either way. The choice is per gallery, inside one subscription.

What it does

  • Client galleries — password-protected, seven themes and layouts, fullscreen lightbox, full-resolution downloads, and no account for the client.
  • Proofing — clients favourite photos and submit an album selection against a target count; you get filenames back, not descriptions.
  • Studio pages — a full website at your own subdomain or custom domain, with portfolio, services, testimonials and an inquiry form that feeds a small CRM and a quote-and-approval flow.
  • Event tools — guest photo walls, a live venue slideshow, and print-ready QR cards.
  • Delivery extras — gallery stats, watermarked previews, whole-gallery ZIP downloads, and client-made mini-galleries that credit your studio.

The documentation covers each of these in detail, and the changelog records everything that has shipped since launch.

Who builds it

GalleryLink was founded by Bibin Mathew and is built and supported by our own small team — we are independent, not venture-backed, and we answer support ourselves. The roadmap comes from what photographers ask us for rather than from a growth plan.

That focus has tradeoffs we'd rather state plainly: we ship in small, frequent increments, and things the large platforms bundle — print stores, sales automations — deliberately aren't here. What you get in exchange is a product that stays fast, stays inexpensive, and changes when you ask.

How it runs, and how it makes money

The application runs on Cloudflare's global edge network, with hosted media stored in Cloudflare R2 and account data in a managed Postgres database. Subscriptions are billed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record — card details never reach our servers. The full list of processors is on the sub-processors page.

Revenue comes from subscriptions only: a free plan, and paid plans on the pricing page. There is no advertising, no data brokering, no commission on your sales, and no fee for leads that reach you through the photographer directory. When you link a Drive folder, we store its ID and your settings — not your photographs. The details are in the privacy policy.
